This year’s edition of the British Masters at Close House is set to be a star studded event going by top names that have confirmed so far.
European Tour stars are all vying for the title and they have showed this by confirming their attendance.
As the series returned to the European Tour schedule, it made resounding success in 2015 at Woburn. Last year’s edition at The Grove was yet another success and going by happenings so far, the 2017 edition is expected to follow suit.
Past tournament hosts like Luke Donald and Ian Poulter are set to appear at the event, aside offering tips in sessions. At the British Masters masterclass in 2016, Chris Wood and Graeme McDowell offered putting tips and a Question and Answer session respectively while Andrew Johnston handled the chipping session.
This term, Nick Dougherty and Tom Barter will host the masterclasses. Rory McIlroy and Poulter would be available for one session while Sergio Garcia and Danny Willett will be in the other session. This year host Lee Westwood would star in the final coverage session.
